You need the National A. This has always been sufficient for the trip to Genk but there is some uncertainty this year over the proposed CIK-FIA rules.
They indicated that they wanted to make an international licence compulsory for racing outside of your home country. The MSA only issues international c licences to drivers between their 13th and 15th birthdays and so this would exclude the cadets and super cadets (mini 60) from racing in European championships.
The idea was to stop youngsters taking too much time off school although it is probably the ones aged 15 and 16 (GCSE years) that time off would affect the most.
