why hijack the thread into a tkm / rotax argument?

sonic, you could go for a rotax outfit that has 'plummeted' in price. they will run a long time between rebuilds if run slightly richer.

tkm does have the noise aspect mentioned above. and do you really need the hassle of bump starting with a 12 yo?

is there a 'favoured' class used at the track you want to use? picking that could be useful for borrowing spares and also for the odd dice
