There is no filter.

Which oil you use will be down to budget and personal preference.

I have used Coolpower for years without any issue and using between 400ml to 450ml depending on which circuit we were running. Oil is changed before every race meeting. This oil does not mix with anything so you will need to ensure that your engines are totally flushed before using.

Joe Gibbs is favoured by many at the moment and whilst there were issues when it was first used this was due to using too little and 500ml min is required. This is expensive but will still need to be changed regularly as there is no filter but it does show a little more power delivery on the dyno.

Otherwise there is Motul 300v or Mobil 1.

My advice, however, is to stick to what the engines have been run on since they were last rebuild.
