Before the Parent licence was introduced the young driver was held accountable for the actions of his parents/adult mechanic etc.
There was a suggestion a while ago that it might not be legal to penalise a minor for the actions of an adult.
A great shame that our sport even needed to consider a way of making adults responsible for their bad behaviour at race meetings.
