I'd love to know which teams are charging Ł1,000 per day. In Europe maybe?

Top teams are generally charging Ł1,500-Ł2,000 (+VAT) per month. That will include full prep and you'll be out about 9-15 days per month. If you allow 1/2 day prep before each weekend, thats a further 2 days per month, so you're looking at about Ł90 to Ł180 per day, depending on how much you're out and which team you're with.

On an ad-hoc basis, they'll be charging more, upto around Ł450 per day.

Awning space only at almost any team is rarely more than Ł150 per day.
