This has been going on got years with SOME S1 (and previously FKS) drivers thinking they have a right of way through other karts.
When we first did those series we were tolsd to expect tp be shunted off until they gotr to know our driver.
Although it is a non-contact sport when you see how fast and close the racing is then there will always be some contact - perhaps more so as the bodywork makes it safer.
Even at S1 and in WSK where they have cameras on every kart they still can not spot everything. FKS posted some race footage and asked people who they tyhought was at fault - lots of different opinions.
If you try and make it the fault of the driver behind then you wioll get some drivers who will break early to instigate a hit/penalty.
Rissington (and othetr clubs) have worked hard to improve driving standards and at normal club evets it has worked - maybe partly because you see the other drivers every month. The special events like the Midlands will attract some guest drivers including some with the wrong attitude.
Someone said that a parent was quite abusive to an official - that really needs stamping out and was part of the reason for the Parent Licence.
