While we are talking about wheel nuts, why actually do we need nylocs or K Nuts? No other vehicles I know have locking nuts of any kind.

My son and his cronies are trying to get me to buy a rattle-gun of some kind to speed up changing wheels. I will never do it, you get so much information back from a speed brace or T bar. A friend of mine used an electric gun followed by what turned out to be an inaccurate torque wrench on his race cars - he had loads of wheels fall off!

I may be an old dinosaur but I think here it's a good thing.
