Keeping this simple, Using Dot 4 in a Gtk system will not cause the cap seal to 'wrinkle like a cauliflower' . I know this because I have personally filled, bled, and used Dot 4 in 2 Kelgate systems over a period of 10+ years. I have just inspected the cap seals and both are perfectly formed and devoid of any wrinkles. If you have 'seen ' a cap seal deformed as you describe I would suggest that the cause is not the use of uncontaminated Dot 4 fluid.
