All karts that use drop down nose comes must have 27mm clearance. OTK bars didn't which prevented them from dropping down in some circumstances. Hence the need to redesign the bars to comply with the new 27mm rule.

Shaun of Kart Crazy had problems at scrutineering last week so developed these spacers. The scrutineer said he'd rather see an illegal spacer than an illegal gap but that is of course only one point of view. He is a picky scrutineer though!
