Might be better to buy a second hand PC or a new laptop from tesco for Ł300
just put the software on. and never connect it to the internet.
That way it may just work for a year, without getting a virus, or going so slow it decides to need a full install.

If you want to be really cool you could....... get the new Air book (the thin one) and the new monitors Apple just launched, and put it in a big motorhome, with massive awning off the side, with Sliding automatic doors!!!

I think AIM is Italian, which is probably why they like the P.C so much and dont do the software on Mac. as mac is too stable, and doesnt break down enough.
