OK, so i was just wondering what peoples views were in regards to what difference having "in the words of a friend of mine" a "MONSTER ENGINE" VS a GOOD DRIVER

i mean lets talk turkey here, in a class that is "supposed" to be equal preformance, how much do these MONSTERS differ actually?

i personally think that it is 80% driving abillty and 20% kit and set up....
i mean id like to get some of the top lads, the brett wykes, roy johnsons and stick them in an 'out of the box' kart and see how they run... and im willing to bet they still are one of the quickest on the track!

when you see these engines selling for £1000s it make me laugh when they are linked to certain drivers, you could make a lot of cash taking some out of the box engines, sticking them on a proven drivers kart and floggen em!

but getting back to the real issue i just wondered what peoples thoughts were on this one or if it has been tried? (by tried i mean running a good driver on a standard engine)
