as a newbie although i have been competing in other forms of racing for 30 yrs I feel a start page with info like the most popular classes, what engines and info on rebuild times and a rough cost, alternatives if your not intending to race so therefore a sealed motor not neccesarry, or the choice of motors after all a lot of people are not intending to race but want something quick, reliable, touch start,and not too costly, doesnt have to be a rotax or does it, I have been to a couple of tracks watched and asked questions, been to the dealers, looked at the forums. I am still a little in the dark with one or two things but getting there now.
