Ok this is expert advice is;

If it's a full can of pump fuel it will last about 3 months maybe towards 6 but only good for a lawn mower aftert hat period if not before.

A half full can will be useless within 3 months if not the month.

All above are un mixed ie pure petrol!

If it has oul mixed in it it could be useless within a week because some oils absorb moisture and some oils separate, the message is if you get it wrong it could be a costly mistake so better to throw a gallon of fuel away than an engine!

That's the expert advise, of course it's not definite or exact and the safest thing is to only mix what you need and only buy what you need!
