I am sure you will offered help but many scrutineers are more than happy to do a full check on your kart even though you are not competing.

Ask them when would be a good time to bring it to them and get them to go-through it. Take your suit, helmet, gloves andboots as they are part of the 'test'.

If you can, go a race meetin early in the morning and fllow through how the day actuially goes. Go and walk along the 'queue' for scutineering, sign on, 3 lap counter laps, first heat etc.. That way, it won'ty all come as a surprise to you. RThere's enough to get right on your first day and it's SO Much better if you have watched a 'dummy run' right through.
