There are 3 threads about this now but it's refreshing that previous knowledge and experiences are being teased out as it helps us move this forward. Thank you all for your positive input.

With the letters posted by DavidZ it shows that we (THR) representing Tom Harris (FKS Cadet 88) are replicating a path already trod by DavidZ up to now.

We are now waiting to see if Tom's accident was captured by PFI CCTV and we have engaged the father of the driver whose kart Tom had hit to obtain a description &/or photograph of the initial contact point on the nose of that kart.
If this information is available, it will be forwarded to John Ryan who I will be meeting early next week when Tom's kart will be inspected.

There is also a possibility that the incident may have been captured by a spectator, so if you know anyone who was filming at PFI FKS then please contact them to see if they captured the incident on the first lap of the Cadet 'B'-Final.

Once again I'd like to reinforce that this is not about apportioning blame or a witch-hunt, it is simply to get to the bottom as to whether the ZIP Storm nosecone increases the risk of a kart flipping if contact is made head on or at 3/4 (corner) angle. We have a good relationship with all the guys at ZIP and Tom is a popular local driver to them. I'm sure that if evidence stacked up against the nosecone they would be the first to ensure that something is changed to reduce the risk to these young drivers.

Regards
