Yeah – only the first and therefore oldest one in the country!
And yes, there’s no getting around it, the upfront cost is high, but ownership cost is decidedly low. Typically the exact opposite of the company we’re (incorrectly!) keeping on this particular notice board. But as a 2-stroker recently remarked to me at Lydd: “…for all the money I’ve spent on rebuilds I could easily have had one of those.”
So maybe we’ll meet at PFi in September: I hope to be there twice that month.
John – if you’re reading this: I would expect this picture (up-front vs. running cost) to be no different when a smaller Aixro comes along.
