between a new design and old there is really nothing in it, i raced to 2002 jkh last yr for a laugh and it was just as quick as the 08 new faster stuff, the only reason you change is cause the chassis's get worn out and go slower not because the designs make it any faster!!1 if that was the case you would see lap records break every year after a homolagtion period. like some1 has already stated improve yourslef then change kart!!
