If I were you I'd keep my money in my pocket (Lord knows you'll need it if you start to race!) bolt the good old air cooled lump on jet and gear it soft and go out to your local track and put as many laps in as you can. Then you will know better what you want to buy. You must also realise its about lap times and not OMG speed on straights, (unless you drive an Aixro maybe), so TKM will be fine. If you want better lap times put better tyres on and gear / jet it so that you rev it harder. There aren't many vehicles in the world powerful enough that you don't quickly get used to the acceleration rush, but getting a lap, or even just a corner close to perfect is a much bigger rush that does not fade.
