"Karts have been fitted with them as an after market bolt-on for 40 years - do you really think that manufacturers, over the last 40 years, haven't tried them, and wouldn't have fitted them as standard, if they actually did anything?"

yeah, they could have welded extra bracing on.

people found it was a bit of a chore to cut them off when they wanted more chasis flex tho.
