Yes, it would have been about then.....

In fact if memory serves, the track started to break up following a particuarly heavy downfall which was about to give rise to the meeting being abandoned and Iain Blair(I think), who was CoC that day, came up with the reverse sweep (hairpin), which saved the day and was universally heralded as a great success............before the MSA put a stop to all THAT enjoyment.

Take it AndyJay not doing any karting these days?
