I agree that more penalties are needed to stop the deliberate contact driving but an exclusion and points should be enough. With cameras we would hope that more drivers will be caught and punished - this should get the message across. however, i do not agree that the punishment should be as harsh as for retaliation in parc ferme/pits. Retaliation is clearly a deliberate act whereas this is not so clear cut out on track. With the speed and close racing we all love to see, there will always be those errors of judgement that result in contact and they should be treated as racing incidents. Very difficult for the CoC to judge sometimes but camera footage may help.
