You don't really need two protectors, one is sufficient. However, if you do wish to run two, a different chain guard may be a solution but, even then, since the clutch puts the sprocket further out, even that may not be enough.

I assume you've shortened the bolts as much as possible already? You could always spacer the whole chain guard out 10mm, or even just the cover (I assume you mean the plastic one that comes in two halves).
