A theory to work with.....BUT.....

When you lean forward you take weight off the rear tyres. They obvs get bigger with the speed and weight forward so your sprocket will be equivalent to a tooth less - hence more speed!

Maybe???????

Just a theory - I have no clue weather this is actually happening. I guess it would if you were running tyres quite soft?
