Don't take Traxtar's comments so hard. In some ways, he's only trying to HELP you!

Yes, we all know 1 scratch is NOT going to make your barrel quicker....... but Traxtar's Dad and I have been karting for 50 years, each, and we have SEEN people get excluded from races for 'offences' that were smaller than that!

Sometimes, the scrutes will 'enforce' TO THE LETTER of the rules! 1 scratch COULD be enough to exclude you. In my time, I've seen scrutes also enforce WAY beyond the LETTER of the rules, too; failing karts thatwere COMPLETELY legal.

He's just saying: be CAREFUL and stay within the LETTER of the rules: it may not guarantee the scrute won't fail you....... but it's a better bet!
