I clerked at the event in question and whilst a parent generally is only watching their son/daughter, marshalls, observers etc.. are trying to watch the whole grid which with best will in the world as people are human will do the very best they can and cannot record every slight occurrence that a parent may "see"

Only second event I have Clerked and it is a thankless, mentally draining task but as Ian states if you are in karting long enough you WILL be on a positive side one time, maybe more.

Have a cup of tea put it down to experience and enjoy the sport :-)
