Great move..... Annoyingly, the TKM doesn't react in exactly the same way that other two-stokes do. Only listen to advice about TKMs, don't hope that advice will transfer between it and other 2-stroke motors. But, broadly, it's actually mostly common sense.

Do remember 80% of all advice in karting is total TRIPE (including mine, I am sure). The skill is finding the 20%..... Ask the questiosn, listen to the answer and get the REASON why they advise XYZ..... if the reason doesn't make sense or can only be a 'guess' because the person is relying on facts they cannot know..... you know what to do!
