There is a video on youtube on how to rebuild the Tryton. Cannot stress enough keeping the fuel clean/filtered. Reliability is down to making sure the needle seats/pops-off properly and any small bits of muck will definately not help. If you are only starting out the Tillotson is a good idea, they are only worth a few pounds as there are loads of them out there and they were replaced by the Tryton.
