This is not my opinion just passing on what most people have said to me.
3 main themes

1) The Tire doesn't last
2) The product is poorly made
3) They don't like Andy Cox

Iv driven a KGP. It didn't run 100% right but i liked it.
An X30 on the Yellow Komet is better though in my opinion.
The lack of exhaust flex for tuning isnt ideal either with the KGP.

My opinion Why KGP wasn't popular:

It went straight in as a Super1 class..with no club structure behind it..this was a mistake in my eyes.

They had a lot of perceived manufacturing issues. (Iame's reputation is the best out there for kart race engines, dating way back when you used to put Iame Rods in everything!)

It was marketed strongly enough. (X30 Karting1 test was so important to the x30 and its embraced Facebook etc really well)

I can move onto Formula Blue too if you like.....

Its marketing is horrendous.
The karts look old and worn out and are driven by old men with grey hair when ever iv seen them no kid finds that cool.

If you were remotely interested in the class and what SimonS says is good about it you then you log onto www.planetkarting.co.uk (free plug) .....then things really go downhill rapidly...

you see a 90's website (worse than this one) with a picture of a kart with the most hideous bodywork and white background stickers saying "Victory" and "Tabour" and then theres some odd bit about ski accommodation..

they could change it tomorrow....but its too late I'm afraid. years of neglect and damage is done.

Log onto www.X30world.co.uk or www.LGMseries.com or www.iame.co.uk and although its not the best. the pictures are from 2014 and the karts where shown look decent and its easy to navigate and looks like it was designed this millennium.
Also X30 timing was correct and the rules are fairly sensible. With the open water kits, and air box's making it more interesting.
