Three problems :-

Firstly its not promoted very well (or even at all!)

Secondly is cost of some key parts (rod Ł173 , piston/ring Ł79 , head Ł175). So if you get a bad engine failure it can be the incentive to move classes

Thirdly is the cost of tyres as said earlier

Real pity because it is an excellent class
