Its all very well telling me you need more info but you are not reading the info I do give you.

We do have a starter as it is a clutched engine.

On his "other" engine (using the same carb) it pulls like a train. I have also tried 3 or 4 other carbs and they didnt cure it either.

It will run and tick over and once on track it behaves perfectly well, its just the initial pulling away that is the problem

The pulse pump pipe is a tight fit at both ends and produces a tight seal
