Next to scrutineering, just before the final corner.

It seemed - and I stand to be corrected - that the novice was working hard, but ended up going quicker than his own ability and lost control.

Compliance with regulations would probably have meant greater care being taken to get the line right so as not to exceed the kerb.

Like you, I can't see penalties being applied at the moment against anyone going too close to the tyres.

If (when) there is a big one there, it will be interesting to see the reaction.
