insert the end of an axle into the bearing and lift to turn the whole bearing through about 45 degrees in relation to the housing while holding the carrier in a vice or still fitted to chassis, you will then be able to remove the axle and allow you to then move the bearing to the full 90 degrees in relation to the carrier. then simply rotate the entire bearing until it aligns with the carrier cut outs and it will lift/pull out. Simples! To re fit note what Alan says re the bearing collar and reverse the process to re fit.
