Hi All,
After being out of karting for so long, I'm looking to get back into it now but am quite a bit heavier.
I am 85KG now with race gear so way over what I should be to race, it isnt fat either so not so easy to shred the weight!
Just wondering is there any chassis out there that is particularly lighter than others? I know you can go for a non painted frame cadet fuel tank etc to save weight but just trying to work out how light I can get the kart down to so I can work out How much weight I’ll need to lose to be competitive.
Did a test day in a TKM yesterday at Whilton and being a good 10KG over it was noticeable how much faster the other TKM’s were down the straight.
