Although wheel lift is a clear indication that the inside rear is unloaded/released it is not advantageous or desirable to have the thing inches off the ground.
To promote unloading of the inside rear, narrow the rear, raise the centre of gravity, increase jacking effect( fronts out and /or more caster), carry more speed through the corner.
Pills etc. In 'the old days ' caster and camber were fixed at manufacture by the angle at which the stub axle yokes were welded to the chassis. Normally 8mm holes were drilled through top and bottom of the yoke and an 8 mm kingpin bolt fitted. 'Modern' karts have the holes in the yokes considerably enlarged to around 18 mm. dia and a flanged insert fitted drilled to take the same 8mm? kingpin bolt. The bolt hole may be central ( neutral pill) or offset by a mm. or 2. Taking the simplest case where an offset pill is fitted in the top yoke only, rotating the pill in the yoke will move the top of the king pin bolt from full backwards through full right and full forwards to full left giving max. caster, max. positive camber, min. caster, max negative camber, all relative to the neutral pill setting. Some systems have offset pills top and bottom to increase the effect.
Note that all karts have caster and camber built in to the frame, the pills only allow relatively small changes from these settings.
More caster gives more jacking effect , more unloading of the inside rear, and heavier steering. 'Discuss?'
