All discs run out. Instead of replacing carriers or discs, the cheaper and easier alternative is to go to a engineer and get the disc skimmed whilst in place on the carrier. its really simple and will only cost about £20.

Get a old axle, bolt disc and carrier on tightly (as you would do in situe on the kart) and get it turned down on a lathe. I used to do this with all my karts from new as they all run out. Even doing the sprocket carrier as these run out too once clamped down.

Before anyone says your thinning the disc by doing this, its minimal and no worse than normal wear which will probably amount to 3 meets worth of braking.
