You have the old style loom in that case..

The yellow plastic probably means it has been replaced at some time, they do break off, and that will go to the engine/coil earth.

The other earth you have will probably have two black leads going into it.

One will go to the crank position sensor in the plug at the back of the engine crankcase to act as the earth for the sensor and shares the eyelet.

Both these earths can be used on the coil earthing.

The new style loom has the long unused DD2 solenoid.
