It's the old loom he is using. as he is turning a key as opposed to pressing a button.

The same thing happened to us at Wombwell. Last practice session on Saturday no problem, Sunday morning nothing. We were lucky that by messing with the wire where it is attached to the starter motor we could get the engine to start. We haven't rebuilt the starter motor yet but we will be doing.

The engine has done about five hours from new, three practice days and three race days. So to be safe it seems we should re-bush the starter motor after every two race weekends maximum, Ł14 set plus my time!
