That's interesting regarding the commonality with the Komet. I raced a K88 in Junior National when I first started.

I've sent the crank cases off to Alan Turney to see if he's got any suitable gaskets at the moment, and didn't take a note of the engine number, but when it comes back I'll let you know.

The aluminium issue may be why the bearings where a little loose.
