We are using Shell M too. What sort of times are you doing ? On the gearing I said previously we are running 36's on a dry day. We are on the old style electrics and are going to change to the newer blue electrics as soon as we can. I don't know if this will make us any quicker but it's worth a try.
We don't rebuild the carb all the time like others do we just check the pop off and if that's OK we leave the carb alone. We have just changes the kit a few weeks ago and this had been in since January and we had done 17 hrs on it.
