The new engine was tried as a minimax to see if it was any different to the old one, and didn't appear to be quite as good. The new exhaust was tried to see if it was any different and it was not. You do not HAVE to run the new exhaust in minimax. So if you already have a mini, just carry on as is.
You do not HAVE to run any of the new parts in any class, just makes it a bit easier to drive in junior and as did not try a senior do not know for sure, but a couple of the very good drivers did say the new engine,as a senior, felt better,faster.
