I don't have the blue ignition. I never changed as there was no problem. In 2015 and until July 2016 there was no problem with the pistons. Then one had a hole blown through the top and the identical problem happened with a second one. That is when I contacted Iame. I forgot to say they also advised using a higher octane fuel.Some said it was a manufacturing fault but since following the advice no problems.If these problems can happen in F1 from time to time it will surely happen in karting.
