Hi everyone, I'm just in the process of building my first kart, things are going OK but I just wanted to check something.

I have a chain that someone gave me but when I try to put it on its miles too small and will go round the exle sprocket but wont reach the engine sprocket. The chain guard I bought won't go round the engine sprocket either but I cant mount the engine closer to the axle because of how the chassis is.

Do I just need a longer chain and guard or have I got a dodgy chassis that won't let me mount my engine in the correct place!?

The chassis is an 01 Deavinson, the engine is a IAME clutched JICA.

Any help greatly appreciated.
