Indeed spot on Simon – it’s all about power, and not BHP either … but BRP.

BRP is the only company I know of in this business that has serious size and resources. Mind you, that hasn’t seemed to help with DD2. So it’s no guarantee either.

John: I don’t know about TKM building a rotary, but I do have “quite a hunch” that a smaller rotary with around 30 hp is on its way – i.e. not a detuned XR50. But it won’t sweep the world for the aforementioned reasons.

In 10 years time none of the above will be around.
