you could send the chassis back to Gillard, they could then put it back on the original jig and check it all and re-weld for you, courier cost last time I did it was only about £20 each way for a bare chassis.

You can get any welder with the correct skills to fix it - I may be wrong but I think brazing is the prefered option.
