Hi, I think you will find that the engine builders will suggest 3-6 hours but if you measure your performance it will not drop off until at least 10 hours. We have run engines with 12+ hours and had fastest laps at very competitive meetings.

I always record our times inc splits on practice days and race days, measure our time to the leader and see if you are loosing time over a period.
