Adam we used the tyres you gave us for 3 practice days put approx 300 laps on top of the 450/500 laps you put on them. He loved them from the off and noticed a big difference on the old rubber. It was only at the end the last practice session that Kyle was noting some loss of grip at the front end but he was still 1.2 secs faster than he was on the old rubber.
For the Hooton meeting we borrowed some 3rd hand rubber from Stu / Tim and took another half sec of his fastest time, 38.60secs not bad for a novice, as you said racing takes it to another level.
He keeps pressing me for a new set but I think some decent used rubber and a new carb will pay more dividends.
