The idea of the seal is good, unfortunately the early tolerances on the barrels were not consistent, hence the 04 barrel etc was the one to have and the 08 avoid at all costs.

Those people who have the equipment and the skill to do all the work themselves complain on here bitterly about the seal, but at least it tries to stop the unscrupulous person tinkering with ports etc. A good marker will be FKGP once it has been running for a year or so.

Also, the seal allows JAG to give a warranty on the parts. if there was no seal, then they would not provide the warranty. I've used it twice myself in three years with no quibble.

The bottom line is, if you dont like it, vote with your feet.
