Hi alex, we went the same route. from clutch to dd.
You dont need to warm on the stand if the carb is set right and is primed before you bump start. easy enough to do, even i can do it.....

then read section 4.2 to set the carb.
To prime the carb prior to bumping, remove plug and spin the back wheels with the plug on top of the engine-attached to the plug lead- essential so you dont short the ignition - make sure throttle is open fully so fuel gets thru the carb.
replace plug.
Bump away, half throttle and hand over air intake to choke if necessary.
simplified but hope it helps.
