At the end of the day if Ogden is going to check that it conforms before he seals it, you'll be saving lots by doing it this way. Whenever anyone in Rotax hears of someone saying "I've stripped my engine" they immediately think cheating's going on. Go for it mate, if you can do the work yourself and save some pennies then good on you. But maybe look into going Gearbox where people don't make out your cheating if you delve into your engine yourself
