Should the atomiser bush shroud be perfectly aligned symmetrically with the carb body or is it an advantage to have it rotated slightly?

I’ve had three carbs, two off which were rotated slightly and one that was perfectly aligned and am curious whether the rotated ones left the factory like this or this is how a builder has set them up.

My current carb has it slightly rotated so I'm wanting to know if I should be leaving or adjusting it.

The UK importer for Dellorto say it should be 'square' with the engine but they also show a 'Heath Robinson' way of replacing it!

OR, if you’ve got a ‘monster’ carb, please take out the slide and advise if the bush is symmetrical or slightly rotated!

Cheers,

Mark
